Branch Library Events

Almond Branch Library

STORYTIME for the communities of Almond and Bancroft is held at the Almond School the first and third Monday, and the second and fourth Tuesday at 10:00AM. Our spring session runs from January 8th through April 24th. These programs are approximately 30 minutes long and are designed for appropriately aged children and their parents/caregivers. We feature books, rhymes, finger plays, flannel stories, music, crafts, and/or puppets for the adult and child to share and experience together. The Almond School address is 1336 Elm Street, Almond, WI.  Please call the Almond Branch with any questions.

SCHOOLAGE events are held regularly at the Almond Branch. Designed for those in 4K and up, these programs are approximately 45-60 minutes long. Examples of schoolage programming include Friday Fun @ the Library, Brick Builders and Read to the Library Dog as well as other special programs.  We request that an adult accompany children under the age of 8.

ADULT programs at the Almond Branch include the monthly Walk-In program, Tech Time, and other a monthly book club.   Each month the Branch Libraries feature a different Walk-In program, which may include a display of related library materials, hand-outs, crafts, activities, and giveaways.

Rosholt Branch Library

STORYTIME is held at the Rosholt Branch on Wednesdays at 10:30AM. The spring session runs from January 10th through April 25th. These programs are approximately 30 minutes long and are designed for appropriately aged children and their parents/caregivers. We feature books, rhymes, finger plays, flannel stories, music, crafts, and/or puppets for the adult and child to share and experience together.

SCHOOLAGE events are held regularly at the Rosholt Branch. Designed for those in 4K and up, these programs are approximately 45-60 minutes long.  Examples of schoolage programming include Brick Builders, Read to the Library Dog, After School at the Library, and Movie Matinees, and other special programs. We request that an adult accompany children under the age of 8.

ADULT programs at the Rosholt Branch are plentiful and varied. Each month the Branch Libraries feature a different Walk-In program, which may include a display of related library materials, hand-outs, crafts, activities, and giveaways. The Rosholt Branch also hosts weekly Tai Chi classes and Senior Socials on Wednesdays, monthly Movie Matinee and a monthly, non-fiction, read-your-own title Book Club.

Plover Branch Library

STORYTIME is held at the Plover Branch on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. Our spring session runs from January 10th through April 25th.  These programs are approximately 45-60 minutes long and are designed for appropriately aged children and their parents/caregivers. We feature books, rhymes, finger plays, flannel stories, music, crafts, and/or puppets for the adult and child to share and experience together. We also feature a craft or snack immediately following storytime.

SCHOOLAGE events are held regularly at the Plover Branch. Designed for those in 4K and up, these programs are approximately 45-60 minutes long. Examples of schoolage programming include Brick Builders, Paws 4 Reading, and Movie Matinee and other special programs. We request that an adult accompany children under the age of 8.

ADULT programs at the Plover Branch are plentiful and varied. Each month the Branch Libraries feature a different Walk-In program, which may include a display of related library materials, hand-outs, crafts, activities, and giveaways. The Plover Branch also hosts weekly Tai Chi classes and Senior Socials, monthly Adult Coloring or Craft programs, and monthly Book Club.
