Summer Library Program 2017

Text: Summer Library Program June 5th - July 28th, 2017. Build a better world. Background: kids and teenagers planting a tree, building a structure, and tinkering.

Children (birth through 5th grade)

Join the Reading Club, attend special library events, and earn prizes!

Reading Club: sign up at the Stevens Point, Plover, Rosholt, or Almond libraries, or your summer school between June 5th and July 28th. Each child will receive a Summer Reading Club activity sheet. As the listed activities are completed, visit a Portage County Public Library location to receive prizes. Complete every section of the Reading Club to earn a free book!

Young Adults (6th through 12th grade)

Read + Volunteer + Participate = Get Prizes!

Sign up at the Stevens Point, Plover, Rosholt, or Almond libraries between June 5th and July 28th. Fill out a Summer Reading Club (SRC) folder and file it at the library for safekeeping. Use the SRC folder to record books read, hours volunteered, and events attended to earn prizes! Mix and match books, volunteer time, and teen events as desired to complete the SRC folder.

Adults

Challenge yourself to build a better world this year with the Adult Summer Library Program! Pick up a list of challenges at any Portage County Public Library location or submit online. Each task completed will earn one entry for the prize drawing. No need to complete all challenges, just as many as you want!   The program begins June 5th and all entries must be received by August 5th.
