Strange New Worlds (June-August)

All adults welcome to come and discuss excellent Sci-Fi and Fantasy literature!
Meets 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM

Paging through the Past (September - May)

A book club for adults who love to read and discuss history!  The Paging through the Past book club will meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm. Copies of the current book are available at the Circulation Desk on the main level.  A full list of book club selections can be found here.

Between Reads

For adults and teens (if still in high school (16 & up) with parental permission) who love YA Lit (YA Lit tends to feature teen protagonists and are typically marketed for young adults).
Meets 1st Tuesday of each month @ 6:30 in Grazies Italian Grill, 5327 Hwy 10, Stevens Point.
Too old for Teen PageTurners, but love Young Adult Lit? Then Between Reads is for you! Whether you’re 16 or 116, YA literature has something to offer you. Read and discuss YA novels of a variety of genres. We meet in Grazies Italian Grill to foster a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy. Join us and you have permission to read YA lit!

Virtual Between Reads

Just like the in-person Between Reads that you know and love, but meetings take place online via Facebook Live!

For adults and teens (if still in high school (16 & up) with parental permission) who love YA Lit (YA Lit tends to feature teen protagonists and are typically marketed for young adults). Whether you’re 16 or 116, YA literature has something to offer you. Read and discuss YA novels of a variety of genres.

Teen PageTurners

For teens in 6th – 12th grade
For June, July, and August, PageTurners meets the 2nd Monday of each month @ 3:00 p.m. – Pinery Room
Read and discuss titles chosen by teen participants. This isn’t like your school book club! Talk about your favorite characters or scenes from the book. Who would you cast in the movie adaptation? Loved the book? Hated it? Tell the group and enjoy!

Mission to Read

For 4th & 5th graders
For June, July, and August, Mission to Read will meet the 3rd Monday of each month @ 3:00 p.m. – Prairie Room
Read and discuss some really good books meant for you! Hate school book club? Love school book club? Either way, try Mission to Read – you will never be quizzed or forced to talk about what happened on page 49. Enjoy fun discussions about what you liked/disliked about the books.
